Humanities Development

We want our children to be curious about people, places and times past and present. We use our local community to find out more. Through their enquiry 'How do we find out about people from the past?' Year 3 visit the Chard Museum every week for 5 weeks. Each week they look at a different aspect of historical sources. In July 2023 Year 3 children were interviewed and described their 'Museum in a Box' for the Chard Cast Podcasts. 'My Home is My Museum' was a collaborative project with Chard Museum funded through Culturally Chard.
