Exciting News at Avishayes!
We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Teacher-Led Specialist SEND Base, officially opened in September following a council-funded development.
The purpose-built facility provides specialist support for children with SEND, featuring a dedicated learning space and outdoor area designed to promote confidence, independence and success. Pupils will benefit from both specialist provision and opportunities to take part in mainstream school life, helping them build friendships and fully engage in the wider school community.
This exciting addition strengthens our commitment to inclusion and ensures more children can access the support they need within their local community. We look forward to seeing the SEND Base become a thriving part of the Avishayes family for years to come.

All our classes had a visit from Harold the Giraffe and workshops this week as part of our SCARF curriculum. We use SCARF for our PHSE and RSE curriculum planning.
